Yo SDN! I would appreciate some advice:

I am planning on taking the DAT in late December, but will not be applying until Summer 2011 (going out of the country in January, not ready to apply yet) in order to hopefully make the Fall 2012 cycle.

Should I send my DAT scores to schools, or wait and pay the $25 later? Does it cost $ to send the scores to schools when you do it the first time around, registering for the DAT? I have looked but can't find an answer!

Thanks so much, these forums are so helpful!

New rule this year with AADSAS, no need to pay $25 for each school, schools are automatically designated through your AADSAS application (though there maybe a few exceptions, but they will specifically ask you to mail them)

wantVCU, thanks for your response. Does that mean on this screen of DAT registration, I don't need to select any schools?

Thanks!

i only designated 1 school (VCU), because after i applied, i called every school that i applied to, only VCU asked for an official copy. All of my other schools received my scores 🙂

From what I read on the AADSAS website, at least one school that participates with AADSAS must be designated. Once one school is listed, and AADSAS receives the score report, all schools you have applied to will be notified.

I definitely agree with rZyme, it should be pushed out to every participating school once AADSAS receives them.
