Northwestern does at the end of the first year before students go to their first clinical affiliation. And then students get hooded at graduation (I believe).

Sorry to sound like an idiot but what does getting hooded entail?

Emory just had their white coat ceremony yesterday. bc we have clinical and core classes integrated in our curriculum they do it at the beginning of the second semester.

i think hooded relates to the hoods you get at graduation. There are different colors for different subjects, so for english i think it is red, health sciences is another color. They are typically given to those who complete doctorate and master programs. if you pay attention at undergrad graduations, the professors all have on their gowns and they have hoods on theirs.

sounds like you guys are in a racist organization. white coat ceremony... getting hooded... hahaha
