Rank these places in terms of residency reputation, experience, ext. I would like to only go to one of these places for an interview. More people with opinions the better. also if you could give your opinion as to why you ranked them the way did. Thanks.

MCW (medical college of wisconsin)
Rush
Loyola
IU (Indiana university)
University Hospitals - Case Western

Should not let reputation define your choices.

Pick one with features you like, though honestly, interviewing is about finding the right fit for residency (i.e. actually meeting people), not about "best" lists.

Personally, I would say IU out of that list, but like the other poster was saying, it's really more about what you want out of the program. If you are interested in cities, I would go Rush.

IU is a good program. Plenty of every type of case (transplants, etc). Good PD. Pretty good national rep. I thought Indianapolis was an underrated city.

I definitely understand picking residency is about a "feel" and where you felt comfortable. The thing is I cannot go to all the schools I have above, So basically the "feel factor" doesn't come into play. I wanted to cancel some based solely on factors of what other people (hopefully further in their career) know about the program or have heard about it. Certainly a good residency program will garner some reputation from the residents it produces. Also if I cancel some of these interviews it will open up slots for other people, which I can sympathize with since I was tense for interviews couple of weeks back. Just give me a list of where you would visit in order of importance if you had interviews invites from all them. Thanks.

I think it still boils down to what is important to you.

I am from the midwest, my wife's only rule was no Ohio, and we don't want a huge city...so I would rule out Rush, Loyola, and Case Western. In fact, applied to none of them for solely those reasons.

In your situation, it may be completely different, and you might love the idea of a huge city. Maybe you love the bears, colts...or hate the bears or colts? Maybe LeBron James made you angry? Seriously, these factors are likely more applicable to you than anything the rest of us say.

Rush is the best on that short list.

Thanks all for input. I have decided to keep the Rush interview only. So dropping MCW, Loyola, IU, and Case. Hope it opens up interviews for others who want them.
