Has anyone had experience with ranking 2 specialties? One specialty will be higher than the other, but I thought that just in case I should put the other specialty on my list, too, but at the bottom. It's not that I would be unhappy with the other specialty, but I would prefer the specialty I rank higher on my list.
thanks!

What do I think? Who cares what I think! What do YOU think is the better question.

There's nothing wrong with it -- a lot of people are torn b/w two fields. Alternatively, people apply to competitive specialites with a "back up."

Just be sure you would really prefer the speciality at the bottom of your list to not trying again next year for the speciality you really want.

For many weeks I considered on ranking 2 specialties, but finally I will only rank one. If I dont match, then I will scramble... I hope It is worth the risk of not ranking the other specialty ( I applied to it as a back-up) , but I will pursue what I want to do for the rest of my life.

best of luck on whatever you decide to do and in the match. :luck:
