I didn't interview at any of those places. Have you checked out Doximity to get a rough idea or talked to any of your advisors / pathologists at your medical school?

Thanks for the reply. I'm an IMG so I don't really have anyone to ask. Does anyone have anything positive to say about Jackson Memorial? Do they get 40k or 60k surgical specimens per yr? Thanks again.

I only interviewed at Downstate and Upstate, but dear god, stay away from Downstate. It was one of the interviews I was really happy to get (I liked living in NYC) and one of the only places I didn't rank. I liked Stonybrook decently, but downstate, yikes. The PD was really strange (and kind of hostile for no specific reason) and the residents were miserable.

Anyone? Is Jackson Memorial (U Miami) a bad program? Someone posted that it is a while ago. I'd really like to know if there's any truth to it. If anyone could weigh in that would be great. Thanks!
