So i have the Kaplan Pharm book, surprisingly it has a lot of stuff in it even if the book seems small. I also have the Katzung & Trevor's Pharm exam and board review.

Instead of reading the whole chapters, i go straight to the end of chapters where they have tables and charts that lists ALL the drugs from that chapter and includes MOA and side effects. What i do is just write all the stuff in my kaplan book.


Is this sufficient ? also i use FA,Uworld,Qbank

Yeah that's fine..MOA is where most people get tripped on, so it's good that your addressing that.

since ive been doing that method, i havent wrote anything down in the kaplan book b/c the book already has everything in it. When i first picked up the kaplan pharm book, it looked small and i thought i may have to add-on another book but it seems to be fine

You'll learn a lot more by creating your own materials from the book or by writing in it, generative learning is key to succeeding in medical school, I recommend reading/listening to "Make it Stick" there is a chapter about memory techniques used by a worst to first medical student.
