Hey guys, in Section 6 (Gases) for example problem 6.19, it asks:

If the rate of effusion for nitrogen gas is initially 17.5 mL/min, what is the initial rate of effusion for carbon dioxide under identical conditions?

I understand that the effusion rate for nitrogen gas will be 1.25 times the effusion rate for CO2 gas. However, how do you figure out that the effusion rate for CO2 is 0.80 times the rate of effusion for N2? (the answer is 14.0 mL/min)

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
