Why have us rate the food when there are independent ratings agencies?

For instance, the Oschner hospital just outside New Orleans is #31 in most cited area restaurants for critical health code violations.

This actually ended up being one of my criteria helping me put together a rank order list. So many of the residencies are similar in so many ways you have to tell them apart somehow!

The adult hospitals has god awful food in the cafeteria, the children's hospital is like a food paradise though.

My place for MS3 rotations had pretty good food most of the time IMO. With the discount for all staff (including medical students) it's like 5-6 bucks for a solid amount of food.

NMH - pretty good. I'd give it a 7 for a hospital.
Greek food and a new vietnamese restaurant are not bad. Cafeteria is alright. Protein bar is pretty good too
