Is there anyone who took the exam and felt like Bootcamp RC is representative of the real DAT?My exam is in two weeks and I am starting to freak out because I just took my second Bootcamp RC and scored less than 15, my first exam was below 15 as well. I use the search and destroy method and can barely finish getting through the second passage. I really don't know what to do because on 3 Qvault exams I've scored 18, 22, and 20 but their exams are much more straight forward, their answer choices are nearly verbatim of the passages unlike Bootcamp.

I guess what I am asking is should I keep using the search and destroy method... people who have taken the DAT, is the exam more straightforward than Bootcamp??

I was originally in the same boat and got a 17 on the first RC bootcamp, but I just took the 4th one today and got in the 20's. I went from mapping to S&D and it really works. Just keep practicing.

Bootcamp was similar but the actual DAT had fewer tone-related questions. My bootcamp scores were 19-21 and I got a 24 on the actual test with basic S&D.

The passages are similar in difficulty but the questions are easier because they are a lot more straight forward and never leave you tryin to decide between multiple answer choices. The key is to experiment with various methods and figure out which works best for you. I was in the same boat as you and scored a 21 on the actual test. I tried every method out there before I settled on the vanilla method
