RC: DAT vs OAT?

Is Reading Comprehension harder in DAT than OAT?
I have been practicing with DAT RC problems and was just wondering..
Is it pretty much the same?
Or should I practice with OAT RC problems?
All the passages I've read so far is about teeth... really boring....

This is kind of hard to answer, but I think the RC in each are comparable. I would study with both. The more reading/analyzing/interpreting practice you get, the better. =)

They should be similar. The DAT and OAT are made by the same people and the difficulty is supposed to be at the same level.

I can tell you from personal experience (took DAT when I used to be interested in dentistry) that the DAT and OAT are similar in difficulty in every aspect of the test. Of course the DAT has perceptual ability instead of physics. The big difference however is the grading curve and the RC and QR are each 10 questions shorter. The OAT is much more forgiving than the DAT, so that is to your advantage.

I will tell you for the RC, I had one section that was the same on the DAT as on the OAT!! I caught a lucky break w/ that section.

There are a variety of topics on the RC, it's not just teeth.

Since the RC section of the opted test is easier than the RC on the actual OAT, does anyone know if the RC on the ADA sample test is equivalent (in terms of difficulty) to the RC on the actual OAT??

certain passages used on the real OAT are in general harder than any practice ones you'll encounter. imo there's really no way to "prepare" for the RC section other than to do passages on the computer to get used to the testing method.
