So I have my DAT on July 3rd
I only have time to take either Dat Bootcamp RC section or CDR
Which one is more representative? In terms of difficulty and types of questions
Also, I noticed there were a lot of questions like "What is the main idea of paragraph 5" in CDR
Are they really nice enough to give you the paragraph #?
And could someone who took the DAT already tell me other types of questions that weren't on either of the practice tests

Thank you so much in advance!

I only had the CDR for RC (10 practice exams). I think its length of articles and contents that they use are very similar to the real test. Also, types of questions that the CDR uses are similar to the real one, except for the fact that the real test asked less about the "big picture" type of questions like "what's the author's opinion?" or "what's the thesis?" So I think S&D method is really important for RC

I think the CDR was enough prep for me. (I only did about 7 practice exams because I got SICK of it =p

Good luck on your DAT!

Thank you so much for your reply!
Did you think the difficulty of the passage was about the same also?
Cuz I thought it was a lot easier than DAT bootcamp and KBB

I'd say they are similar. I am not sure how difficult DAT bootcamp and KBB are since I never tried them.

I also retook the DAT because of low scores including RC in which I received 15 on the first try. Like you, English is not my first language. Try to read my DAT breakdown if you want some more of my input.

Good luck.
