Are we allowed to move back and forth between passages by using "previous" and "next" button on real RC test?

No, you can not go from one passage to the next. You have to go through each question one by one.

hmm.. unless i remember incorrectly, i was able to go back to first few questions after going over all the entire section.

yeah, you cant jump from one passage to the next a la the pat where you cannot jump from aperture to, say, angle rankings w/o scrolling the individual questions one by one. its just another way to make the test even harder!
