I'm a very slow reader and will sometimes have to go over things twice or more to understand it. That eliminates reading for me when I started b/c at my rate, it would be a waste time for me to read. The method of choice I used was search and destroy. Worked well for me, even with tone questions, which I would probably save for last unless you can answer it immediately. When you've answered everything else, by the time you go back to the tone questions, you should have a decent understanding of what the article/author/tone is trying to say from all the searching. This method works for me though. Some people can read the article in 5 and finish the questions in 5 minutes. 😱 People say you can't really "practice" for reading simply b/c it's a skill you have to develop over a long period of time. You either have it or you don't. But if I were you, I would definitely take some practice tests soon to see how you do and what works best. Timing is probably what you need to worry most about.
