I received an email from RCSI and I have an interview scheduled next Wednesday.

I did do some research and I just any new tips or and advises from past experiences.

Sorry, I'm an applicant as well and I just wanted to know (if you don't mind sharing) when you applied and if you applying to the 5/6 year program or the 4 year program...

I still haven't heard from the ABP for the second round interview..

I also applied to RCSI, but to the Bahrain campus. I too have also recieved an email from ABP, for interviews. I was wondering if you guys had found any adivice on how to prepare for the interviews.
Also, where are you guys applying from? I am applying from Canada for the 6 year program.

I had my interview scheduled in NYC in February, but due to the snow I had to have it via the phone. That said, I am not sure how similar my phone interview will be to your actual interview. BUT my phone interview was pretty relaxed. All of the questions were pretty straight forward, however they did ask me one tricky one: "What qualities make a good doctor?" then I answered, and they asked me which of my listed qualities (i.e. compassion, intelligence, honesty) I was most lacking. So I would watch out for that one.

Honestly though, I feel like I asked them more questions than they asked me - which was a little weird, but I am a very inquisitive person. I was accepted in March so apparently it went well!

It went really well.. I made a list of questions from what friends told me on what they asked and I will scan the page and post it later on tonight... 🙂

My interview was really casual. Two old ladies, really nice, they were laughing a lot and even though I was nervous at first I relaxed once they started laughing..

I'll post the possible questions tonight 🙂

Yes, the interviews in Toronto are in May, mine is on may 8 at the sheraton hotel.

Yes, the interviews in Toronto are in May, mine is on may 8 at the sheraton hotel.

If you're going to stay at that hotel, get one of the club rooms. It's like 20 dollars more than their cheapest room and you get free amazing breakfast / evening food in their top floor lounge.

Oh May 8, huh...I still haven't heard anything about RCSI interview. I did apply pretty late so I'm not surprised that I haven't heard back yet.

I'm thinking either RCSI still hasn't gone through my application or I got rejected... They don't give notices for interviews this late, right??

Thanks for the tip but unfortunately I live near toronto, so no hotel suites for me...🙁🙁

Wow, they are still interviewing? Did you apply for the 6-year or 4-year (graduate entry) medicine program at RCSI? How did you find out you had an interview? Did ABP e-mail/call you?
