I dont know where you heard that bit about the north americans, but most of my classmates are NA (a LOT of canadians) albeit i am not in Junior Cycle i am in Foundation year. But all the student are contacted by email about the interview.

As an applicant anxiously awaiting a response from RCSI as well as the other three Atlantic Bridge schools, I was wondering if you might be able to give me an idea of what your GPA and MCAT scores were. Please don't feel obligated, but I'm curious to see what my chances may be. Thanks very much!

well cant help you here some get there through thier A LEVELS but then if your grades arnt good enuff then u might have to go through foundation year
