Ok so I applied to md school 2 yrs ago. I got a couple interviews. They didn't go we'll. I think I need a better, more outgoing personality.
My friends and I made a very short movie last year and I want to send it in a portfolio...
Please check it out for a second and let me know if I'm making a mistake in sending it.

I appreciate it.

Hey my PH Advisors need to know my decision in 36 hrs. Can I get some responses? What do you think of the film?
Should I send it? PLEASE HELP!

I need to know guys, I'm tryin to send my application in as early as possible

Do NOT do this. You can perhaps mention it at interview, in your PS or under hobbies.

If interviewing is a skill, you can learn it by practice, practice, practice.

If it's not too late to weigh in, gotta agree with the others. Not appropriate for this purpose.

One of the biggest issues some candidates have with med school interviews is not treating them like the job interviews they are. If your weakness is with interviewing, then what you need to do is practice interviewing. It's a skill like any other, meaning it's something you can learn to do better. If you're still a student, your school may offer mock interviews at the career center. Take advantage of that service. If you're out of school already, you may still be able to get similar help as an alum, or you can ask someone who doesn't know you well and who interviews a lot of job candidates to mock interview you.

No one expects you to be a total socialite and the life of the party at your interviews. If you have to err, I'd argue that you're better off being a little too reserved than being a little too forward. Trying to be funny can make you come off as obnoxious or otherwise inappropriate.

Best of luck with your apps.

I don't think it's generational. I don't get it either and I'd like to think I'm "young" at 29.

Going to have to agree with the ABSOLUTELY, DO NOT SEND THIS.

Absolutely do not send this. Maybe it's generational, but nobody on my committee will understand it.
