I was just wondering if anyone else was a re-applicant this year, and if so did anyone get a re-interview? Im not sure what to expect for my 2nd interview, I applied to this school last year and I was 2nd on the wiat list so they pretty much called me back right away... but I dont know what to expect i the interview... Any insight would be appreciated.

hi Canadian26,
2nd on the waitlist...u were so close! I'm sure you have a good chance this time around 😉 I don't have experience w/re-interviews but I would think that you should be prepared to explain how you have improved as an applicant. I was just wondering when you applied during the last admissions cycle? I'm curious as to whether or not applicants still get waitlisted even if they go for an interview early on in the admissions process.

I would imagine that the chances of getting waitlisted are higher if an applicant applies late in the cycle. Does anyone know if there's still a potential to be waitlisted if you interview early (i.e. there are still available seats but you might be put on hold for some reason)? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks! 🙂

I actually applied very very late. My application didnt compelete until about 2 weeks before the deadline, and they called me out right away. I was only in 3rd year though, I will have a degree at the end of this school year. The chances of getting waitlisted I would assume do increase if you apply late in the cycle, considering that most schools have rolling adimission, theres just less spots open for ppl to apply. You can be placed on hold for various reasons, such as pre-reqs, money etc etc. I dont know of anyone who was waitlisted who had applied very early in the process.

I'm a reapplicant this year. I'm going to have my interview at SUNY this wednesday!
