re: LOR contact?

I have 4 LOR's now I am new at this so please dont flame me.

I have 3 LOR's from science profs and 1 from Dentist.

Should I tell them to include their contacts? Such as e-mail or telephone? Or are these things included in the AADSAS package? Does AADSAS or dentistry schools verify these by contacting them? Should I tell my LOR providers that they will be contacted?

AADSAS has matching forms your evaluators must fill out and sign and mail their letters with these forms. these forms become available when the cycle opens.

If you are insinuating whether you can fake LOR's by yourself, you can probably get away with it as I doubt AADSAS verifies them. Realistically I doubt people processing applications will investigate it to that degree. If that is what you are thinking, don't do it.

Like Dan the Man 2007 said, AADSAS requires LOR matching forms and on those matching forms are spaces for contact info. So it is not necessary to include contact info in the actual letter. Your LOR writers can they want to, but it isn't required.

You don't have to tell the LOR writers that they will be contacted. I figure AADSAS required contact info so that in the event that they want to contact them, they can. Just ask your writers to write the letter, attach the matching form, etc.

what if you are using a letter collecting service such as interfolio? Should you tell the professors/letter writers that they will be receiving an email from AADSAS in the future (1yr+)? I'm starting to collect this summer for my application cycle for entry into the Fall 2010 class.
