Hi guys,

I'm just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with their file at UOP. I checked my app. status on the internet and it said that my file was reviewed, but no decision was made. It also said that my file would be re-reviewed again in late February.

Does anyone have any "success" stories about being re-reviewed at UOP? Do they tend to re-review everyone? Do I have a better chance of an interview since I needed to be "re-reviewed"? Has anyone been "re-reviewed" and gotten an interview after that?

PLEASE help me! I really would like to know what is up with this status.

I'm in the same boat! When does your applicant website say that UOP will re-review your application? It said end of February for mine! I guess we are neither selected for interviews nor denied for fall 2002! I don't know if that's good or bad!

My status at UOP is the same....re-review end of february. I spoke with someone up there last week, and she said that UOP will be figuring out next week how much of their class is actually filled and based on that, they will re-review applications. I am not really a strong candidate for 2002, and she told me it is very possible I might get a letter later on saying that their class is full. The up side is that another person up there told me that not every application is set aside for re-review; some are rejected right away too. So there might still be a ray of hope.

My application was reviewed in August, re-reviewed in December, re-reviewed in January, re-reviewed in Feb, and is set for re-review in Late Feb 🙄 If I do get selected for an interview, I am not going to go, so hopefully others will do the same so that you guys who really want to go can get interviewed. Same thing for me as Regina. I have been in re-review since Dec. It's pretty frustrating so I've just about given hope. Good luck to the rest of you!

since i still haven't heard from UOP, i went onto their website to check out what was happening, and i have FINAL REVIEW ... and i wonder what type of "review" this is.... there isn't a 're-review' date even.

No news yet from Columbia, UPenn, UDMercy, BU, UOP

I think I interviewed with you at Penn. I am the one from Vanderbilt. I see that you've been accepted, as have I. Are you planning on going there or are you waiting for somewhere else? I think Penn is my first choice right now.

I have also got the "Final Review" status at UoP and was wondering if you'd go there over Penn? I'm debating whether or not to go to the UoP interview if I get it. You think it would be worth it? Hope to hear from you and maybe we'll be classmates! Take care and good luck!

Vandymac -- I totally remember you! Congrats on UPenn. All the folks (the guys) whom I kept in touch with after the Penn interview got in. It was a pretty good day for all of us apparently. Be sure to check out UOP man, it's worth it.. SF is wonderful. Let me know when you come. I could host you in the bay area! I am still going on interviews (the late applicant that I am) at USC, UCSF, UCLA.. so it'll be a while before I figure everything out. Keep in touch man.

Congrats right back at ya!! That would be awesome if all of us from that day end up classmates. But I get the feeling from your posts that you want to stay in CALI 😎
I totally understand man and good luck in the rest of your interviews. I will let you know if I decide to go to the UoP interview if I get it and will take you up on the offer to hang out in SF! It's definitely one of the best cities in the country and anyone would be happy living there. Especially when comparing it to Philly. Let me know what you decide.

If you go to SF, I'll can tour you. I'm @ucsf 5 days a week. I can take you straight to the dental admission office or the dean office. Which ever you prefer. I pretty much know who is who by now.
