Re-using Supplemental essay/program specific question answer

( Don't mind the title I wasn't sure how to word it haha. )

I'm reapplying to a few programs and noticed that their program specific questions/ supplemental essays are the same as last year. I was wondering if it would be bad to just re-use my answer from last year. Is there some type of database the school has that will catch me? lol. Something to prevent plagiarism maybe.

Most likely I will go back and edit it a bit but for the most part it will be the same.
Should I just rewrite it all together?

It's not plagiarism if you are " plagiarizing" yourself 🙂. You can use the same essay if you believe it's good. You can make a few changes if you want. It may not be realistic to expect someone to completely rewrite their essay sine you are still the same person with mainly the same experience (add something if your experience changed for the last year).
