Is it worth reading robbins for the boards? I mean during the semester; I feel like it is unnecessary for my medical schools course work. Would it be helpful if I read it now for when I start my actual board studying in a few months? OR should I save the time and maybe read BRS or RR or just make sure I know my course work really well..

You could take months just to try and learn everything in RR Path. I would stick with that and toss Robbins.

Summer is intended to "review" what you learned during your first 2 years. Go with BRS and RR. Robbins during the summer = Suicide. 👎

Well I ll be taking the boards next febuary-ish...I started my second year this past January (carribean school; SGU)meaning that I m finishing up half of M2 at the end of June...

Our path course is condensed into 1 semester and we've finished most of the harder/high yield organ systems in our path course (lung, heme, cardio, Bvs, GI, Renal, peds, female genitals, male genitals..) and we re in for a 4 or 5 week stretch that is considered to be a little easier giving us more time. Just wondering if I should maybe go back and read robbins or if I should just read BRS path (which I ve kinda started to do in my recent "free time") and RR path...or just know my notes really well??

Coming from a carrib school I know that I have to do fairly well (aim is 230+) to get a above average residency ...:scared:
