Hi everyone,

Better to spend more time doing qbank/qbook vs reading? Also anyone do Qbank/Qbook willing to share approximate percent correct and their actual step 3 score? thanks.

just do questions.

Did USMLE world, avg prob 58-62% and got a 212. not great, but passed.did ~ 600 questions.

I think this is a very INDIVIDUAL decision that should be made on a case-by-case basis. Some people (such as the above poster) maybe able to do well by doing Qs only, but that is certainly not the case for many examinees (myself included). Even the balance of time between reading and Qs will vary from one person to the next. Most people tend to prefer focusing on Qs, especially for this exam since much of the material has already been covered on Step 2 though the approach is different.

How long did you guys study for step 3? Is usmle as good for step 3 as it was for step2? Whats the best way to prepare for clinical skills portions? And did you read first aid?
