reading comp, QR questions?????

I was wondering if everybody who took the DAT finished all the passages for reading comp on time.. I just cant seem to finish the last passage, ive tried using kaplans tech writing everything on a scratch sheet and numbering the paragraphs but that just takes way too long, so ive been just lookinn for each ans in the passages which a the biggest time kill... whats the best method??? And does everybody look back at the passage for every question or is it just me??

Also.

QR.. my worst section.. i cant seem to finish QR, the word problems kill me, what book helps the best with QR, kaplan? topscore? DAT achiever? barron? and is there a lot of straight forward algebra and fractions??? Whats most frequently shown up on this section????

A lot of the articles are full of #'s and specific things that don't really show up in the questions.

Reading is my worst section too. What I can do is...read the question first. Then get the 1 or 2 very important word from the question. For example, the first question on Kaplan practice test says

"Vasodilator nerve fibers that innvervcate teeth in mammals are found in"

then I just write down vasodilator nerve, innervate.

so then when i read, and see any of those two words, I know that answer is near.

well...i bombed SAT, so i am worried about this section. but I am trying hard now. 🙂
