reading comprehension sample tests on barrons DAT

hey guys did anybody find the barrons version of the RC ridiculous?
i didnt not have time to do all the questions in 1 hr!
and the paragraphs are so fat that im overwhelmed by it!
is the actual DAT broken up into smaller paragraphs?

is the topscore pro a better representation of the RC on the actual DAT?

I personally thought that TopScore RC was way too easy compared to real DAT RC, and Achiever's RC was a little bit on the harder side than the real DAT.

I guess somewhere in between!

i started crying when i went through the barron's RC.. please please PLEASE say its not THIS dense!!! also the passages are primarily dental science and procedure stuff.. is this the case with the real deal?? 😱

barron's dat is horrible at everything - full of mistakes, no correct answers on model examinations, less than bare minimum on explainations.

well i just came across this quote from another thread on here so it is somewhat relieving:

"The barron reading comprehension section is a lot harder than the real DAT. You should try topscore, kaplan and DAT achiever. The difficulty of those are closer to the real DAT"


I guess barron's is good to keep you challenged. But in terms of being a good representative.. in the words of da Nappy Roots- "Aw naw, hell no!"
