any recommendations for prescribing for specific magazines? i was never good in r.c and it surely doesn't work magic, especially within a short period of time. any tips for brief practice? tricks? other then the obvious ones stated on this forum.

Thanks!

The reading comprehension on the DAT is a lot like the MCAT. So just grab an MCAT reading comp book and use that as preparation.

As for a specific recommendation, I suggest Exam Crackers. They are by far the best preparation book sI've seen (even though sadly it is made for the MCATs not the DATs.)

this is not true at all.

MCAT's verbal are very short passages (600-700 words in length), and more than 90% of the questions are tone-based.

DAT's RC on the other hand, is about 70% answerable from the passage and about 30% tone based.... The passages are about 1500 words in length
