hello everyone...

i have a cardio elective coming up and I really want to be impressive because I really like the dr i'll be working with and i dont want him to think i'm no good.

is there anything i can read before hand?
is there a good resource to learn how to read EKGs?
is there a place i can practice listening to heart sounds?

thank you very much for your help!

1) Read up on your patients...otherwise you won't remember squat.
2) Blaufuss online EKG tutorial is a good place to start...i.e. it's free
3) At the bedside. Seriously.

Enthusiasm accounts for 90% of the impression you will make. Just don't be late.
