At the present, how long is it taking to go from "ready to review" to "under review"?

There's no rhyme or reason to the switch. I went from ready to under in a day, but then I was under review for a week. Others sat in the ready state for a week and then were only under review for a couple hours.

nope-under review can last from 5minutes to a few days.
I never even saw that my app was "under review"

Same here; my app went from "ready to review" to "processed" within a day. Or near a day, at least...I didn't pay attention.

I submitted on 6/30 and my app automatically went to ready for review and has been that way ever since. I don't think that there is a true line in which they process the apps.

bump if things have changed lately... it seems like there was no rhyme or reason to length of "ready for review" when this thread was started. I know that the AMCAS verification thread has information about length of time from submission to verification, but I'm curious about the "under review" step as well.

Average wait time was about 2 weeks but growing. If you haven't submitted yet, you better do so quick before you hit the mad rush in August.

Oh wow! I submitted on the 13th, and my 2nd and last transcript was couriered there on the 12th, which means it arrived there on Monday the 16th, at the latest....still showing up as not received in AMCAS.😴

When mine went from "ready to review" to "under review", I thought that it would be verified any moment, so I kept refreshing that page every 30 seconds or so. Once it was 7pm, I realized that I was wasting my time. After spending most of the next couple of days incessantly checking my email, and chewing my fingers like a nut, I finally realized that I need to occupy myself until this stupid "under review" period is over. Amcas sucks.

I was waiting around for my transcripts to post as received before I submitted. Got an email on the 12th saying my last transcript had been received on the 2nd, go figure.
