So my scores are average compared to everyone on here which is why I put the realistic part. I currently have a 3.0 GPA and I'm entering my senior year. This breakdown is for all you normal people who aren't geniuses. Therefore do not make fun of my spelling or grammar because I already know I made mistakes.

Scores
18 Bio
19GC
18OC
19PAT
22RC
16QR
18TS
19AA

First of all I would just like to say that the test isn't nearly as tough as it sounds so don't worry. The best advice I can give you is to study on the weekdays and party on the weekends. Then repeat until you feel prepared enough.

Materials
Chad 10/10 (MUST)
Cliffs AP Bio 10/10 (MUST)
DATQvault 10/10 (MUST)
Bootcamp 10/10 (MUST)
Destroyer 7/10
Ferralis 6/10
Kaplan 5/10
Crack the DAT Science 2/10

Biology
For biology I read cliffs three full times and added to my notes/notecards each time. If I could go back I would dedicate 30 min each night before bed to go over my flashcards buts sadly i did not start this until 2 weeks before. It helps a lot!! I then used DATQvault and bootcamp to test my progress and averaged anywhere between a 16-23. I would strongly recommend these if you are looking to improve your score. Also I don't see how anyone could benefit from ferralis. They are waaaaaaaayyyy to in depth and they didn't help me in my studies at all. I also didn't come across a question on the DAT to where the notes would have helped me. Just make your own flashcards and review them daily. Thats the best way to score good here.

Chem
I used Chad to review everything. Its been 2 years since this so I was way behind and he made things very simple. I then went through destroyer 1 time to expose myself to tougher question and really drill the concepts into my head. Even though i got like 25% right it still helped me learn. I then did bootcamp and qvault to test my progress and see where I'm at. The questions I got on the test were very basic and if you know all of chads stuff then you will be more than prepared.

OCHEM
Chads for learning then destroyer for problems. I didn't memorize any reactions because you don't need to and its a waste of time. The reactions on the test are very basic and you should already know them from your ochem classes. The reason my score is lower is because I got 3 lab questions and guessed on all 3. Other than that I felt like I got all of them correct. Once again I used bootcamp and qvault for practice and progress checks.

RC
I only did 3 practice tests and that was just to get used to the format. Honestly if you waste your time studying this than your simply wasting your time. Find your strategy and stick with it. I read three questions at a time and search and destroyed for them. I found this very easy and it obviously worked. The test asks very straight foreword questions.

QR
I only used chads and destroyer for practice. They are enough to do good on this section even though Im not very representative. I don't know what went wrong. I felt good and was scoring 20's during practice tests. Not really sure what else to say here.

---If you have questions about the test or study materials Ill be happy to answer them. Also I can posts my practice scores if people want to compare.

I would disagree about your statement "I didn't memorize any reactions because you don't need to and its a waste of time. ". There's definitely memorization involved in ochem, and it sounds like the reason you got 18 was because you missed only 3 lab questions?? 27/30 correct on any ochem section could not possibly correspond to an 18 on any DAT test...

Your right I wish I got only 3 wrong. Sorry I wasn't clear enough. ***i could have maybe got a 20 if I would have gotten those right. And yes honestly I had like 4 reaction questions that were all so basic it was like 2+2. So I do think it's a waste of time to memorize everything.

For those who wanted the Bootcamp scores.

Bio- 16,16,18,20,19
Chem- 16,18,20,20,18
OChem- 18,22,22,20,19
Reading- 18,19,20 didn't complete
Pat- 20,19,18 didn't take the rest

Bootcamp was awesome but I would also recommend getting qvault

How many problems did you have concerning cellular respiration and plants on the bio section?
I had probably like 2 haha. It's very random so make sure you know the concepts but don't go very in depth. Memorize 2 facts about each thing and your golden.
