OK so help me out if you guys know this. In my undergrad Orgo was split into quarters as CHEM51A, CHEM51B, and CHEM51C at 4 quarter units(2.7 semester units) each. I also took two orgo labs with it CHEM51LA and CHEM51LB (2 quarter units each). I retook the courses in my postbac and received all A's. But the college with repeats is on a semester system and the Lab and Lecture were combined. The repeat classes are worth 5 semester units each. Now I was under the impression that as long as the repeat units are equivalent or more the grades should be replaced. As in both lab and lecture would be replaced. But I called AACOMAS after I saw a few errors on my app and it seems that not only do the units have to be the same or more but one class can only replace one other class even if the repeat had lab included. So essentially I have to pick whether I want the lab or the lecture grade replaced. Then I spoke to another rep and was told that they would replace both lec and lab if I had the same grade for lec and lab otherwise I would have to pick one. What do you folks think?
