I graduated in December 2011 and I decided that I want to go to medical school. My undergrad major was Biology but I was not sure whether or not I wanted to go to medical school. I have a 3.2 sgpa and a 3.22 cgpa. I decided that if I wanted to improve my chances of getting into a good school, I would need to go to a post bac, the only problem is every school I apply to has rejected me.
I applied to temple and U Penn. I have not taken the MCAT yet and I really dont know what next move should be? If I cannot even get into a post bac, how will I ever be able to get into medical school?
Please help!

You applied to two places and consider that applying? The two post-baccs you mentioned are two of the most competitive programs in Philadelphia. You already mentioned you have not taken the MCAT, that would be a good next step also. You could also do more schooling by non-matriculation to boost your GPA. There is an ungodly amount of things you can do to improve your application. Search function helps here.

Start volunteering, or doing something clinical. Unless you can SMELL the patients, its not clinical. Make sure medicine is something you actually want to do. Explore different aspects of it. Shadow docs in an academic environment as well as a private practice. Make sure you can see yourself doing that. Make sure it is something you are ACTIVELY PASSIONATE about, otherwise you are wasting your time. Study for the mcat and do significantly above average on it (33+). Studying should involve at least 4 months of work, including 2 full-length tests a week. Get started on a personal statement for med school. Have EVERYONE read it (parents, profs, friends, med students, docs, literally anyone). Constantly keep editing it. Make sure you have good recs, and get more if needed. Look up all the SMPs/post-baccs you can find, get info on all of them and make an educated decision on a handful of them you'd like to apply to. This should be based on stats, program specifics, med school matriculation rates, cost, and other factors. Apply to them and get into at least one (this should become easier if you volunteer and show that you have some way of knowing what being a doctor implies).

Theres at least 18 months of work in there. I'd also suggest you keep it in that order rather than switch it up. It will make it easier to study as well as easier to get in.
