I'm hardcore struggling to rewrite my personal statement as a reapplicant. It's only been less than a year since I last applied, so not much has changed. My premed counselor told me that since it's well-written, I don't need to change anything, but all the other forums and advice panels say differently and that it's important to alter it...so I'm pretty lost. Since I didn't start out college wanting to do premed, mine is structured as a "here's how I arrived at wanting to be a doctor and here's why I'm qualified and will be good at it" statement.
Any advice would be wonderful.
