Reapplicant with no interview invite last cycle!! Question!

Hello,

I'm a reapplicant who applied only two schools (what a bad decision) last cycle and received NO interview invite.

I've read a lot of threads whether re-write the personal statement or not..
What are the chances that those two schools read my personal statement?
I spent a lot of time last cycle to write my personal statement and I think it still represents me well with minor editing.

If you can't produce better or equal quality PS to the last year's PS, don't rewrite and just edit. This years PS will have more weight, if adcom even reads last year's PS at all. If you didn't interview, they might not even have your old PS on file.

All schools read personal statements. It is a way to differentiate applicants and for them to get to know you, aside from the interview.
