Hey guys I had a few questions that i cant seem to find answers to and any help would be appreciated:
-When the new cycle opens do i need to submit anything regarding the dat?
-do i need to get all new LOR's or can i just ask the professors to resubmit them?
-Should i just alter my personal statement alittle to reflect new things ive changed for this new cycle?

Nope. You just supply AADSAS with DENTPIN + date of birth

-do i need to get all new LOR's or can i just ask the professors to resubmit them?
For most schools, they will be okay with re-using old letters. So having your professors resubmit old ones is fine. I've heard of a few schools complaining about this (I think it was maryland?? ~ don't remember)

-Should i just alter my personal statement alittle to reflect new things ive changed for this new cycle?
thats up to you.

When I re-applied, I met with professors that I was re-using LORs from and told them of any updates about myself that they could include in their LOR. As for the personal statement, it doesn't have to be a complete overhaul, but make changes to it that reflect what you have done in the past year or so to make your application more competitive.

Q: What is the DENTPIN?

A: The DENTPIN® is a unique identification number assigned to all applicants and students in dental education and standardized testing programs. You may have obtained a DENTPIN® when you registered for the DAT. If not, you will be prompted to register for a DENTPIN when you create your 2011 ADEA AADSAS application. Your DENTPIN will follow you throughout your dental education career and will be required to register for future examinations.
