I applied to 25 MD schools this cycle and have yet to receive any II and have 4 Rs. Refer to my WAMC thread here for more information about my current application. I am still conducting research with the same professor and volunteering as an interpreter at the same free clinic as I was when I made that post.

At this point, I have started thinking about my plans if I have to reapply next cycle. That said, I am thinking about getting my CNA this winter break and starting a clinical job in January. This would probably give me 300-400 more hours of clinical experience for my application next year. This semester, I have also brought back a national honors society to my university and am serving as its vice president, which will go through next spring, giving me some more leadership experience.

Will getting a job as a CNA in January while continuing my interpreter volunteering be 'enough' clinical experience to make me a competitive applicant for next cycle as a reapplicant? How do schools view work as a CNA? What other suggestions/advice do you guys have so that I can improve my application for next year? Anything is appreciated, thank you so much!

First, there is still time before this cycle ends, so wish you good luck in getting an A this cycle itself.
If that doesn't happen, could you also consider:
1. SMP?
2. Re-taking MCAT (though 512 is a good score, higher may land you better chances)
Edit: I am just another applicant.
