I'm reapplying for 2010. Is it customary to resubmit everything?

I'm reapplying for 2010. Is it customary to resubmit everything?

Since all the schools are moving to OptomCAS now, you will be asked to resubmit everything (LORs, Transcripts) to OptomCAS. From what I heard, its the worst year to reapply because typically schools don't ask reapplicants to resubmit everything. They usually just ask for a short essay. I guess on the bright side, you won't have to resubmit everything to every school you're interested in applying to.

So are they foregoing the short essay? Do I have to resubmit the same LORs as last year? I want to add one more LOR, do I resubmit two of the same from last year and 1 new one? SCCO said that although they want people to resubmit things, they will still have the LORs and essays from last year as well. So if I submit one new one, will I in essence have 4 LORs in my record. That's what I'm asking.

i'm not too sure on the details of optomcas. i wish they let us know more before july 15th. i want to ask an instructor for a letter but i don't even know where to send it to.

but i guess if you want 4 LORs, you'll have to send it to optomcas so all 4 of those letters will be sent to all the optometry schools you apply to. i'm just assuming, not sure.
