I have matched into an osteopathic internship, but i was not able to match into a PM&R spot. If i were to reapply, how do I know which programs will have open spots for 2008? Or will i be applying for 2009 if i reapply this year?

I am sorry you did not match. If you were to reapply for the match for next year you would have to take a year off and do something else. If you want to ad-hoc find a place to go to without a hiatus you could simply poll different programs to see if they have an opening, openings are generally word of mouth. Someone did this at Michigan recently. Hope this helps.
There are some programs which are accepting applications for residency spots starting July 2008. The only one that I know of is New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. There are other programs, so I suggest doing some research and start calling around.
