Ok so I have a 3.6 cGPA and a 3.5 sGPA with a 30 MCAT
I'm currently on a year off after graduating and I'm working as a scribe in the emergency department with some other solid though not "eye-popping" EC's. I didn't do well on my MCAT the first time around so I took it again this summer. Needless to say I screwed myself over again with my unpreparedness.
I know I would be competitive for DO at the beginning of the application cycle. My question is, should I stall another year without applying? or try to apply this year and submit my app right now and try again next cycle should this cycle prove fruitless? Would it hurt my chances if I re-applied the cycle RIGHT after if I didn't make it in?.
This may sound stupid to a lot of you but I'm just in a bind right now and I'm getting pressure from everyone I know, but I want to make an objective decision despite the fact that I really don't want to take a second year off.
