hi I got accepted to a pharm school in 2009 but there was problem with my degree.. I couldn't finish my degree by the date I planned. anyway, the school gave me an option to put deposit and petition to hold my spot.

when i reapplied, i rephrased parts of the beginning to make it flow better and added what i did the past year in the end

If you got a good essay and you have nothing else to add, why change it?

This comes up a lot. A lot of people reapply and talk about having to "rephrase" and "fixup" their essay. If your essay sucked so bad that you had to change it when you applied second time around, then there's reason #1 of why you didn't get accepted in the first place (you got accepted so I'm not trashing you specifically, I'm sure your essay is fabulous).

P.S. If a whole application cycle passes and you have nothing new to add to your essay, thats not good at all.

lol its all gooood
think of it like this. most likely the essay is close, if not at, the maximum character count. since its assumed you should add whatever you did the past year, you have to take something out/shorten something tom ake sure you're still in the within the max character count.
thats an example of the rephrasing im talking about
