Hey all,

I recently received an II from GWU in Washington, DC for January. Since I live on the west coast, and I mostly applied to schools on the east coast, I was wondering if schools are usually receptive to ITA requests. Also, what is a good range of distance for ITA requests? I am thinking of emailing the New York, Maryland and Virginia schools that I applied to since it would be much cheaper to take the Amtrak between these cities compared to flying back and forth for each of them. Does this sound reasonable?

@gonnif Thanks!!! I was just wondering which type of email you would recommend:

a) "I have an interview at school XYZ during the week of #th" (i.e. mentioning the interview as well as the name of the school)
b) "I have an interview at a nearby school during the week of #th" (i.e. not naming the school)
c) "I am going to be in the area during the week of #th" (i.e. not saying that you have an interview at another school)

Thanks! Anybody else has any idea? I read somewhere that we should not say that we have an interview elsewhere, so I am quite unsure if I should include it.

I mentioned that I was in town for another interview and it worked just fine (received 2 immediate IIs, and another one a few weeks later)
