So when sending updates to schools pre or post interview... I was wondering what the appropriate reasons to do so were. For example, the most obvious one of having new publications is always a definite reason to send an update, but what about things like doing a poster presentation at a conference, or guest lecturing at a university etc..

Wasn't sure what the exact appropriateness of sending updates was. I feel updating with things that don't matter will just feel like badgering them, but at the same time I was curious what are these things that would actually be worthwhile to schools.

I hope my question makes sense!!

I updated when I finished my masters program (December graduation) and included the new project I had been given at work.

I updated a school with a couple of new important volunteer activities and the project I was planning for my MSPH practicum.
