I have a massive dilemma with my recommendation letters. I transfered schools about 2 years ago, and haven't made any new contacts at my current school of any use to me. I haven't kissed any professors' asses or even talked to any of them for more than 10 minutes. Now it's time for me to graduate and apply to either grad. school or a post-bacc program before heading off to med. school, and I have no idea where to go for recommendation letters. Anyone have any suggestions???

I had the same situation where I was out of undergrad for 2 years and didn't know any of my graduate professors well enough to feel comfortable asking for letters. Do you have ties with any of your undergraduate professors? It would make sense to ask if you do. If not, sit down with one of the new professors, perferabley the one you feel most comfortable with, or who you've had 2 or more classes with, and tell them your situation. Most of the time they will ask for a completed application, resume, etc. to get an idea of who you are and write a rec. from that.
Good luck.

ask your advisor and the ask the department chair for a letter, even if they don't know you, they should write a letter attesting to the quality of your work (which is better than no letter, I suppose)
