do ya'll think it matters if my rec letters say
i'm writing this letter on behalf of ________, AMCAS ID#_____.
i was told that was the way to write rec letters for organization purposes....and i didn't decide until later that i would be applying to DO schools.
any advice is appreciated.

Is there any way you can have the writer delete the AMCAS # part? I don't know if it will make a huge difference, but I would imagine it will look a little strange (to DO schools).

During the application cycle that I applied, the schools wanted social security numbers next to the name. Try to have the author of your LOR's replace your AMCAS # with your SS#.
