Receipt of Transcripts/GPA Calculation

Per AADSAS, transcript verification can take 4-6 weeks to complete. My transcripts were received as follows:

000000 ST-SCHOOL #1 Undergrad/Post-BS/BA Received 06/13/2005

000000 ST-SCHOOL #2 Undergrad/Post-BS/BA Received 06/13/2005

999999 -HIGH SCHOOL AP CREDIT Undergrad/Post-BS/BA Not Received

Does this mean I have to wait another 4 to 6 weeks now? How long has it taken some of you to receive your AADSAS GPA calculations? Did anyone post their HIGH SCHOOL AP CREDIT separately like I did?

I called AADSAS this afternoon and questioned the AP Credit not being shown as received. The lady said that once they begin calculating my GPA they will see the AP credit on my college transcript and then the AP credit will show as being received. But I agree with you, I hope this doesn't hold up the process of getting things out to my designated schools. AADSAS does not appear to get in any big hurry about anything.

Has anyone else had AP credit listed separately and have you seen it received yet?

if so, then i've taken two ap exams. on one, i got a 2 and on the other, a 3.

now, both of them show up on my University Transcript, specifically, they show up on the semester before i started university - spring (i started a summer session my freshman year)

how do i enter it in? i think i'll enter it in under spring, right?

what do i do about the ap class that shows up on my transcript, but shows no credit 'earned' for that class? (because of the 2) - there is no option to show that i've 'attempted' a course and recieved no credit! They only way to do this is to put down i recieved an F, but I don't think that is correct!

any advice? was your situation similar to mine? and what exactly did you do about it?

Hey! I submitted my AP credit under the AP code 999999. My coursework on AADSAS reflects the AP taken the spring before my fall semester at college, so yes I would enter it as taken in the spring. This is how it looks on my AADSAS coursework:

As far as the AP credit you attempted and received none, I can't remember but does the dropdown box give you an option of 'no credit' received?

Hmm...I took I.B. and received 3 credits.

I put them under fall term of my entering year since it is listed that way on my university transcript.

So this means that I have to send them my HS transcript as well?? 🙁

The AADSAS rep said that once they start calculating my GPA they will see the AP credit on my college transcript and then my AP Transcript will show as being received. I think I am going to call AADSAS again tomorrow to clarify this.

Help us out here folks . . . anyone else having this problem with AP credit?

Well, I thought I had tried to do that but couldn't put the Advanced Placement/CLEP designation in there. Hopefully, it will all work out the same way. Those that haven't submitted yet might want to do what cowsgomoo did . . . sounds like the right way to do it and would be less stressful.

There is no option of 'no credit' on the dropdown box

What do I do

Am I disqualified as an applicant, because there is no option for me

Like puncho, I am wondering...now since it shows up on your university transcript, did you send in your HS transcript as well?

Okay, I just got off the phone with Leslie at AADSAS. She said that I did enter my AP Credit correctly by using the 999999 code. She also said that there is a glitch in their system wherein the AP Credit will not show as being received yet because it is on my university transcript. AADSAS does not accept high school transcripts according to her. I should see my GPA in about 2 weeks, again according to Leslie, so we will see. Hope this thread has helped a few folks . . . it did me. 🙂 🙂 🙂 Thanks!

yeah, thats how I did it too. Since the AP credit shows up on my university transcript, I just marked ap/clep credit and sent one form. Very easy!!
