Hello all, I wanted to post a poll for all re-applicants to get a decent sampling of who received interviews at the same school two years in a row.

Reapp is a low-traffic forum and your N will be at most maybe 7. Every year 10k people reapply MD (out of about 45k apps total). So if by "solid" you mean "anecdotal" and "utterly useless for drawing any conclusions" then you're good to go.

You could browse mdapps for a larger number of anecdotes.

Now, if "zags" is Gonzaga and you're a WA resident, then you'd probably like to know I was interviewed at UW twice.

It was suggested by one of the mods on "What are my Chances" that I post a poll on this forum. And yes I understand that the sample size for anything will be statistically unsound without an adequate sample size....I just thought I would give it a shot, but thanks for the input.

I interviewed twice at PCOM. Will be hearing back this week from them. Last year, I interviewed very late in the cycle, mid-February, and was waitlisted. This year, I was much earlier - a week ago. I do feel that the re-application to the same school helped me, at least in this case, to get an earlier interview and a better chance at admission. Wish me luck. 😀

Hopefully I'll be able to vote on my own poll here soon to say that I got a re-interview myself 🙂 I'm much earlier this year also...I submitted secondaries in late november last year lol, submitted first week of october this year which is still sort of late, but definitely not nearly as late as last year.

I applied to DMU 2 years ago and was offered an interview in December, which I turned down. This time around, I applied and was offered an interview in September and was accepted 2 weeks later.

Re-interviewed at my home state school. I was waitlisted last year, and was invited to the first interview session this year.
