I'm anxious to hear back from Midwestern CCP since it is my first choice. I submitted my supplemental on Oct 1, so its almost been 2 weeks! I'm just wondering when other people heard back from them? Also, if you're rejected do they let you know right away or do they tell you in the spring? Thanks!!

hey sweety ^ ^ sorry hun, i'm not a midwestern ccp applicant, unfortunately =/ but, still! felt the need to reply and relieve some of that tension juuust a bit. well, considering that everyone "else" seems to be too busy these days eh[whatever!]? but, anyway... the norm[wait], in comparison to the other schools or threads here to be exact. seems to be about 4 to 6 weeks. so yeah, don't even sweat it girl[RELAX!!!] and i'm sure you'll be getting that invite soon enough or better yet accepted. so yeah... :xf::xf::xf:

now, as far as the rejected notice? you "should", find out within a week after they've reviewed your ap. but, not sure how mid goes about it =/

by the way, i hear it's pretty tough getting into midwestern eh? i was reading some comments in a lecom acceptance thread and some girl there had a 3.5 GPA, a BS in biochem AND a 91% on her PCAT. STILL! got rejected[:wtf:]. but, luckily did get accepted to albany and duquesne. anyway, gotta run now... nice meeting you and good luck sweety :luck:

Here's last years midwestern thread:
http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=563270&highlight=midwestern+ccp

Its a long read, and I'm not gonna lie, I jumped around and skimmed the info just to see how long interviews went on. Basically they started interviewing in october and went pretty far into february. You might have to wait a while before you hear anything back. If you really want to know what happens during the wait, give the thread a read.

As for rejections, most schools will not reject you until they have their class filled. Usually, you will be placed on a waitlist.

After submitting my supplemental application, I got an interview invite within a week.

hey! sweety, you might wanna try giving them a call. well, i've been reading similar threads here and most seem to not only be getting interview dates. but, getting interviewed right then and their. so yeah... just thought i'd mention it, since i know the suspense is unbareable, these days eh? 😀

I dont know about Midwestern CCP but Midwestern CPG where i interviewed at i had to wait at least a month to hear for an interview. However, that could have been because I applied August 1st and had my supplement done a week later. I did call them and they told me they were not going to be giving interview invites till 3 weeks till the Oct 2 interview date, which was the frist interview date.

I got that interview date and I was also accepted. The biggest part of midwesterns admissions is the interview, if you do well there then you have a good chance of getting in. Just if your wondering I have a 3.61 GPA, a 65 pcat, 3 strong LOR, and a really strong personal statement. I interviewed on friday and found out that I was accepted on Monday.

There is also a Midwestern 2013 thread might want to post there for any further questions.

hey, is that a typo or did you really have a 65 on your PCAT[no disrespect... just asking]? well, i suppose you can't go wrong with 3 to 1 odds eh[lucky you ^ ^]?

It is not a typo I did have a 65 on my pcat by my lowest scores were reading comp and verbal. And to my defense I am a poor standardized test taker. I stress too much which makes it hard for me to pass. However, obviously it was enough to get accepted to the school I applied to. I haven't decided if i am going to finish my second application yet or not to U of A. Ya, I only applied to one school so far but hey i got in.
