Recent NECOM AND OSUCOM Recruitment Emails ...?

I'm not sure why, but NECOM and OSUCOM both sent me emails in the past few days about applying to their medical schools. Has anyone received emails recently from these 2 med schools (or any other med schools) in regards to recruiting for potential DO students to apply to their schools? I am rather surprised that they'd attempt to contact students this late in the app. season, especially considering that im from the South and have no connections to the North/New England area ... 😕

I also got a recruitment e-mail from NECOM and I don't have connections to the area either, so I'm not sure why they sent it to me.

Yeah, I've gotten recruitment information from LECOM-BR, ATSU, UNECOM, Touro-MI, LMU-DCOM, among others. I don't think that medical schools are that "picky" as to where they send their recruitment information, unless it is a school that is 90% or so in-state.
