Recertifying AMCAS application?

Hi all,

I submitted my primary AMCAS on July 12th and I'm still waiting to be verified. I'd like to add a letter of recommendation and possibly another school as well. The site then asks me to recertify. Does anyone know if this means it'll take longer for the application to be verified? i.e. like resubmitting?

From what I have read on other posts, re-certifying will not affect your place in the verification line. However, if you feel uncomfortable taking my word, you can just call amcas directly .... no better source. good luck!

no its not like that. I added 2 schools after verification and it delayed nothing and its not like being verified again.

i called a few weeks back, amcas said resubmitting would not affect your place in line for verification
