I'm in some serious trouble as a pre-med student.
Got a B.A. in Biology with a 2.5 GPA.

I was really confused as to what my next step should be and thought about doing a year of research and doing a post-bacc afterwards to somehow make up for it. (And also boost up my MCAT score of 30 in the meantime).

I hear Georgetown has one, U of Mass has one and even Cornell.
But it's really hard for me to know which one would be worthwhile.

So my questions are,
a. Is it even worth pursuing this road of post-bacc programs? with my GPA?
b. If yes, what are some recommendable ones that I can get into with my GPA and scores?
Preferably in the East Coast but obviously with my situation, I guess I can't be to picky. So other recommendations are also welcomed.
I see the list up there but thought to know the ones that are more legitimate.

Appreciate it!
Sincerely

Have you taken the pre reqs already? If you have then I suggest a DIY postbacc as opposed to any particular program and try to get at least 40 credits of 3.7+ in high level sciences. For your MCAT you need above a 32, preferably a 34+. With lots of volunteering, shadowing, research and other EC's, you should be able to get in to an SMP. From there hopefully medical school.

It will probably take some time, about 3 years or more.
