Recommendation letters

Hello,
I know it's required to have at least 3 letters (2 from science profs and 1 from an employer/dentist depends on which school) but I actually have 2 general dentists that offer to write me letters so would 4 recommendation overkill and hurt my application instead?
Also, does it matter if the people writing letters for me are related to me? We're not immediate family or anything but will that hurt me at all?
