recommendation

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
You should apply. There are schools that don't require recommendations of DO's. If they do, you can always find DO's who are willing to write you a letter of recommendation. I did what usdfiant suggested...go to the phone book and just call all the DO's. That's what I did and I found 3 so far willing to spend some time with me!

That is a good idea .However I was wondering How strong that letter of recommendation will be ,if a stranger is writing it ?

Call the school you are interested in applying to... get a list of alumni that practice in your area... call them... I haven't had a school reject this request at all. In addition, most schools look more favorable upon letters from their graduates...
